thanks for all the prayers - i had a great retreat and am 20 hours from departure - i need to get back home and evaluate the damage due to the floods: as far as i can tell from reports that i have received, the local banica area has not suffered from flooding, but so other areas about 45 minutes away have, so i'll have a full report in a couple of days, well, at least i hope i will, as i have received a missive lamenting the lack of internet at a parish...

well folks it's been a busy 3.5 months and it's time for this parish priest to go on retreat. so, because of the potential trouble due to the elections which will be held tomorrow, i have to go into the capital a day early, spend the night, and then head off to pray. i'll be gone for about 10 days, so keep me in your prayers as you will be in mine.

my pig is ready to pop. the talk is 10-12 piglets. we'll see...
i have 4 little chickens - two of which are egg layers! they should begin laying within a month or so.
my turkeys continue to enjoy life, but they haven't layed any eggs yet.
should be new priest down here sometime this summer.
we have collected over 37,000 for the school - we just need 13 more! thanks to all those who have donated and helped out.
the official "Christendom College Summer School Program" begins in a couple of weeks, with 10 students coming down to take spanish and theology class...
