we have undergone an interet service change. however, no necessarily for the better, at least as of yet. we have some issues, which i cannot bear to detail here. nevertheless, we seem to be operational from 5-7 am our time (4-6 eastern). hopefully we'll have things worked out over the next week and be back to normal.
otherwise, we are gearing up for lent and the brunt of the dry season. the local aqueduct has been on the fritz for 3 months.
the new high public high school is progressing nicely, and i delivered the ultimatum to the contractor and the principal of the high school that their 40 year, rent-free occupation of our building would end with the close of classes this summer. hopefully that'll light enough of a fire under their feet to get things finished. then we can do some reconstruction around the parish.
